I'm not sure exactly what one i have, I think its windows media player 9 but i'm not sure. I installed it because my Yahoo! music said that I had to up grade my player, but now I can't even do anything on my windows media player. Can anyone tell me how to uninstall the new version but still keep my music for the old one?

Go to comtrol panel and click on add/remove programs. Remove the version you want removed because there are going to be two of them there(it should have a description next to it that will say upgrade). After that, you should be able to use the old media player.

*But if there is only one, then don't do it, because you will remove the program in a whole with your music.

well I dont see exactly what your problem is because you can just figure out the controls, its a very similar system just more updated, but if you really want to then go to the control panel and click the add remove programs button and select the right system program to uninstall it. You will still have windows media player, just the last version
