flash and java download?

flash and java download?

i am trying to downlaod flash and java, they say that they were sucessfully downloaded, but then i get to a website and it says that i cannot view link w/out falsh or java....i'm confused

Make sure that Java is turned on in your browser. In IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab, check the box under Java, and restart the browser.

It is not enough to just download, you have to install as well!
