When installing the HP 3310 software, the PC is unable to discover the wireless networked printer because of firewall restrictions. However all firewall software is switched off, therefor I was wondering if there it is a firewall in the SKY (Netgear) wireless router, and if so what is the logon details to get into the router and configure ? No router admin details have been supplied by SKY.

The SKY router has nothing to do with it. The PC and the printer should both be on the same side of the router so it is not affecting communications at all.

Make absolutely sure that you ran the wireless setup procedure on the printer from its control panel according to the instructions on page 11 of the Setup Guide that came with the printer. If you try to install the printer software before you do that, it will fail.
