sign into your "My Account" from Yahoo (not email account)
right hand side of page click on "Mail"
Middle column "Management" - half way down is General Preferences, click on this link
there is a box called name & email - here you can have it say what you want as the "from" so just type in your email address again -or whatever you decide to be called

Go to the "Options" tab within your email and you will be able to set your outgoing details there - if you are using the Yahoo Mail Beta, then you can access Options towards the top right of the screen when you have your inbox open: Options > Mail Options > Mail Addresses, click on the address you want to alter and then click edit. Then you can change it to anything you want - I have done so for an account that I just use for a bulletin board.

How to do it:
Log into your email account, On the right, near the "search the web" button and advertisment there will be "options", click this then find "General Prefrences"
Then it will come up with "Name and Email"
In The "From Name" Type what you want.
Hope This Helps!

Sign up for as a new user and give yourself a new identity. You can be anyone you want to be but dont put your real name etc in the sign up details. You could be the next James Bond, David Beckham or even crazy frog lol.

the problem lays in the sign up... when you put your name and surname while signing up, that is what it appears when for example you send me an email... understand? i guess you´ll have to make a new email... and when it says name and surname put anonimous or sth like that... good luck!
