NORTON is constantly informing me that a program called taskdir.exe is attempting to access the net I keep chosing to block its access but I keep getting the same message.

I have found a program to remove it but I dont trust programs off websites that I dont know....anyone elese had this problem?

Just brought a new gme and it keeps crashing. Tested drect3d in the dxdiad window and test 8 and 9 fail, says this!

Have uninstalled and reinstalled latest versions 3 times!! Any advice or a solution?!?!

The gist:
Two computers at my home. I have a router (not wireless) the cable that runs from that router to MY computer is too short and doesn't reach to the back of my PC. I need a longer cable in other words but I need to know the name....Can anybody help ?

It seems like nowadays that Google searches only yield results from websites that pay to be "prioritized". While this isn't illegal, this seems pretty dirty since Google is thought to be a "FREE" search engine. It will find really old web pages, but any recent ones don't tend to turn up unless you pay them money. Can anyone corroborate this? Does anyone else have a problem with this???

I also found file recovery software online, but does it really work, and which is the best and cheapest? Also, is there a way to clean your Harddrive completly if the first question is true.

Other people are going to be using my computer, and I don't want them seeing all of the things that I've searched for. When you go to search for something, it shows all the words that match the letters you have typed so far, and I want to keep my searches private, and delete all of my searches. Please help me!!

I have a DVD burner. Am using a DVD-R disc transfer it OK but can only play it on my Comp. It will not play on my DVD player connected to my T.V. I have 2 players & it works on neither.Any suggestions apart from setting light to it. I keep getting the msg on my DVD Player NO DISC. Please help somebody

its a samsung cd rw(52*24*52). the tray opens when the button is pressed and sometimes it opens automatically. i have another cd r drive which is a little older and having the same problem before. the rw is a new one and this problem started a few weeks earlier. please help

I wanted to download four files, but AVG discovered they each had a virus and recommended, that these files be put in the AVG Virus Vault.

I've just checked and they are there.

Should I delete them from the AVG Virus Vault i.e. from my computer, or just leave them where they are?

Can they still do any harm to my computer?
