Open Microsoft Outlook (if thats what you use), select Tools menu, then Options. Once the next window opens, select the Mail Format tab. At the top is a dropdown arrow with an option for HTML. Good luck.

In the new message window:

Format > Rich Text (HTML).

On the bottom, select the source tab. You can now write a whole web page for your email if you like.

That's Outlook Express. I don't know if Outlook proper is different.

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
In the Compose in this message format list, click the format you want.

This is for Outlook only. It will differ depending on the mail you are using (i.e. Yahoo, MSN, Gmail, etc.)
