The license that goes with such items is only legally binding for the buyer. Since I'm downloading what I have found online, something that someone else bought or stole and put there in spite of laws, I don't run into licenses that have to be accepted. I'm not distributing any copyrighted material either.

I have not altered any settinggs and it was Ok last time it was used earlier today i have just turned it on and the screen has althered position. Help as I have no idea what to do? I have an Advent 7016 laptop running Windows XP version 5.1.2600 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.66GHz about 3 years old. When I switch it off it gains time, sometimes up to 2 months overnight. I can understand losing time as the battery fails but how can it gain time?

I use my laptop off-line. I upgraded my Exchange 5.5 (Windows NT) to Exchange 2003. I moved my mailbox to the new Exchange server. When I Send/Receive, new email goes into my exchange server inbox, but I can't use it offline. If I get internet email from offline, it goes into the inbox, but when I connect to the server (later), that message disappers.

I upgraded Outlook 2003 to SP2.

I even tried deleting my old .osp file and it did create a new one. But that does not sync either.

When I look at my folder properties, it shows that it NEVER synched. When I go into Send/Received Groups and set these folders to SYNCHRONIZE, I then get an error message after send/recieve that says "Exchange server reported error (0x80070005): You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation. - I do not see an appropriate setting on Exchange Server 2003 to allow or fix this.

Im building a PC for creating music and playing games. I was wondering if anyone has a PC with PC8000 1000Mhz RAM and if they do, whether it is worth the extra hundreds of pounds over PC6400 800Mhz RAM? Plus why is it so hard to find a motherboard that will support PC8000?

The old cd rom works ok, but still it showed no D: Drive. I was going to install a CDburner, and windows cannot find the D; Drive. It doesnt show up in My Computer either. Do I have to reprogram the computer for it to recognize it? I know its there, the old cd rom plays cds and all that just fine, Im not quite sure what happened or how to fix it.

If I go to settings/control panel/display/desktop ....the 'browse option' is greyed out, and doesn't allow a desktop background change.
Alternatively, if I bring up a photograph on screen and do a right-click and choose 'Set as desktop background', this does not work either.
