You can't. Yahoo! Toolbar is a standard toolbar until you sign in. You can sign in and customize it (add or remove what you want, and select the order you want them to appear), but you must be signed in to have access to your customized Yahoo! Toolbar.

You can not change it before you sign-in, but you can change it while you are on line and once you are on line then make the change, after that the toolbar will show up but without the other items showing...You have the Option in changing your tool bar..On the tool bar next to the big Red "Y" is a small pencil (click on the pencil) another screen will open up, click on (PERSONAL OPTIONS) another screen will open up, Click on (Add/Edit button) or (Change ToolBar Layout) follow directions from there..

Uninstall the toolbar and reinstall, using custom install not the quick install. On the quick install, yahoo installs everything, custom install it asks what items you want installed.

Doubt there is a way before you are signed in. How would yahoo know that is how you wanted it if you were not signed in?
