It is most likely your graphics card driver. Nvidia has the option of rotating the screen for those who want to use their LCD panel displays for graphic work. I can only assume ATI has something similar.

1) On the desktop - right click - choose properties -> Display Properties box should show.

2) Choose the Settings tab - click the advanced button -> New window should open with series of tabs at top, Cycle through these until you find monitor orientation.

You should be able to alter it from there... good luck

haha :P

It would help if you could tell us what type of graphics card you have

Ok so Im assuming you have some type of Graphics card control center??

Start Menu -> Programs ->

Look for something like ____ control center

most likely ATI or Nvidia

Since I dont know which program you are using I cannot be specific, but if you tinker with it you can find the options for screen rotation.

Hope this helps

Did your monitor come with any type of special configuration software? If it did, you can probably change the settings there. (Mine came with a program called "EzTune" which allows me to do precisely what you're talking about.) You should also right click your desktop and choose "Properties" then click the "Settings" tab and snoop around to see if there's a setting in there that you can adjust. Otherwise, I'm out of ideas. Good luck.

right click on the desktop, select properties, go to the last tab, then click on advanced options, then look in one of the tabs for rotation, and select 0 degrees.
