Do programs such as Window Washer really erase and remove all the temp internet files, cookies, and other files on your computer as it advertises or does it just provide a false sense of security?

Yes it is a really good program, you can also do a scan on c & d drive,It will erase all your track's and free up all the space on drives where you have deleted file's. webroot spysweeper is also one of the best out there for removing spy ware and trojans,dialers

I've used Window Washer and Spy Sweeper for five years. Both are fantastic. However with Yahoo email and Spysweeper you must not block "COMMON AD SITES".
I believe this is one of the main reasons Yahoo Email seems so slow. It took me five days to figure this out.
