The primaty reason I want to get the Sony 23 Inch is because of size. I work on Digital Pics and I want to view before/after side by side. My graphics card does not have a DVI input. Is it worth getting the Sony 23 inch without upgrading my graphics card to one with a DVI input? I will probably replace my current computer in 2 years. Thank you!!!

What is the number difference between the two?

For example, when someone advertises a computer, and they say it has 250 GB, that is not the real amount of GB it has. That is just a rounded number. So how many Genuine GB's would a "250 GB" computer have? And what is the percentage difference?

This past week alone, our network server at work has crashed 3 times and has been an ongoing problem for quite some time. Today we had our IT guy into check it out AGAIN and this time he asked if any staff were streaming music over the internet because even one person streaming music will use more system memory than if all 6 computers in the office were each running Quickbooks. I think our IT guy is stretching a bit for an explanation because my boss is quite heated that he has been w/o a computer 4 of the last 8 working days. Is this a valid reason for a network server to be constantly slow and even become unusable? I can understand music taking up internet bandwith but our internet is always fine whenever we have the problem...

They either put no thought into their questions, and answer to just get the lousy 2 points. But for what purpose? If you're not really answering questions, you're just wasting time. If they don't answer with something nonsensical, then they berate you: you ask a question, they respond by calling you an idiot. Though this problem could have its roots in the American public education system, I'm not sure. There seem to be a lot of cantankerous old retirees on the verge of senility answering these questions, too; why?

Has this Yahoo Answers thing actually given anybody any useful information or advice?

port is missing. I have checked the USB cable and the power cord. I have tried everything I know to do. It might help if I knew what a "file name" is or what I am supposed to type in for the "path." No one has ever explained this to me. I am 79 years old and am just trying to understand what is going on with a computer. I have had a printer before but a part broke off of it and the co. had to send me another and I am having trouble getting the printer to work. Does anyone out there have any advice for me? Thanks a million.

I find an image/brush/patter whatever online that is not for commercial use, so, I don't use it in that way. Whatsoever, I have a client that want a website (personal) with the image/brush/pattern in question.
While I am not selling it, I am being paid for the job using it. What should I do in a case like that?
