The primaty reason I want to get the Sony 23 Inch is because of size. I work on Digital Pics and I want to view before/after side by side. My graphics card does not have a DVI input. Is it worth getting the Sony 23 inch without upgrading my graphics card to one with a DVI input? I will probably replace my current computer in 2 years. Thank you!!!

You don't need to get a new computer to get a DVI output, just install a new video card that has one. But, the picture will still be good with the DVI to analog adapter.

There should be DVI-to-analog adapters you can buy if you don't want to change the video card in your PC.

However, consider that you can pull your current video card and sell it for half price on eBay, then buy a new one that has a DVI input. Sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn't. In addition, you'll have some money down towards a new video card. A decent one will run you between $125-175.

The DVI connection is nice to have because it keeps the signal completely digital from the CPU to the video card, and then all the way to the LCD monitor. The end result is a slightly crisper picture, especially when there is a lot of movement.

There are rather some 32inch samsung fashions. the only that is closest to the sony s series is the 360 variety. If I had to be certain on between those 2 i could pick the Sony. This 365 days for even though reason Samsung seems to be like having reliability matters extra then interior the previous. I sell those issues all day long. they are approximately equivalent in each and every way so i could bypass with the only that may not breaking down as plenty. you fairly can not bypass incorrect the two way nevertheless.

I don't think you should get a 23 Inch monitor to be honest. If you do decide to buy one though, I think they come with regular input cords as well, although without the DVI input, the display will not look as clear or as nice. Make sure you do some research first.

In my opinion no. 23 inch's is to big. It makes your head turn left and right none stop. I suggest that you keep with a 19. 23 will just cause problems. Besides it's alot of money to buy a 23 inch + a graphic's card no point in wasting that money. When you can save it for your new computer.
