i set the contrast to max and the brightness allso but still dark
if i have a game for example and it has a brightness level then i can set it and it becomes a lott brighter
i tried adjusting the gamma but it only works for my desktop

I need a code / script in HTML that replaces some text with another? For example, I want to change "/image/" into "" when it appears on a page.

Another, I type "visitor". I want it to change into "guest" on the page. Is there a code for that?

I usually experience this whenever i play a game. I have the laptop on my table hooked up all the time. Usually it goes into sleep mode whenever I walk away from the comp for a few hours, but lately as I'm on it, it shuts off completely. I don't know why. Help please, it's driving me insane. BTW, this is a Toshiba Satellite laptop.

My PC has 256mb at the moment, so this will double my memory - except I don't know how to put it in. Someone told me you just have to unscrew the casing from the tower and there is a slot to put the memory in. Is this correct? Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

I don't know when or how, well, I do know when cause it tells me everytime it pops up, but...

I have this site "Popcorn.com" that pops up everytime I get online telling me that my 3 day trial has ended and now I am legally obligated to order their service. I'm the only one who uses my computer and I'm sure I've never subscribed to their service. With that said, it doesn't seem to make a difference. There are questions you can ask the sight to dispute their claim but all answers come back to their original conclusion, that in order to end the "pop-ups" I have to subscribe to their service.

I don't want this, I don't feel I need to but I don't know how to get rid of it. I've gone in and deleted cookies, temp internet files and that's about all I know to do.

Someone please help!!! Let me know how to get rid of these pop-ups without sending them $29.95...or more!!!

I recently got a new Sony MP3 walkman, the NW-A1000 (its all shiny and looks like the front of it is one big screen.) It looks good and the play quality isn't too bad. However the one problem I have with it is the bundled software the "Connect Player". Its rubbish, processor hungry, and very poorly designed and I very much wish to beat the person who made it to within an inch of their life. Does anyone who has had a similar experience have any ideas about another piece of software which I can use to get MP3s onto my device?

The movie company I'm signed up with doesn't let me what movies. Something to do with can't locate media file. Computer company said that the movie company needs to help me with the problem. The email I got from movie company said , first, about how many firewalls do I have..... so I'm going down the list, step by step. Not computer savy at all, and experiencing much tech. problems. I have office 2003 on windows xp home on one partition. On the other partition I have XP Pro. I have lost the CD and want to use Office on XP Pro. I can access it from program files but when a program opens (for example Word) an error message comes up that says "this program is not installed for this user". It is really frustrating because it is on the computer, but I can't use it!

Im looking in to buying a laptop to keep a large media library on. i want to put all my music, movies and pictures on there. i also would like to put windows vista on it when it comes out.
