How do I remove the websites I have visited from my search bar? The past searches are all shown.Drives me nuts

This might sound like a unintelligent question, but i'm computer illiterate, so please make your answer easy to understand and follow, even for a moron like me.

This is what I use http://www.ccleaner.com its free and easy to use. It will clear all of your history

At Yahoo open the menu of the pencil icon, at far left of the search bar, then select 'clear recent searches'
For Google, open the menu with the arrow next to Google and select 'clear search history.This has worked for me.

Open Internet Explorer.
Click tools on the top of the Explorer.
Click Internet Options.
Click "Clear History".

It may ask you if you really want to clear all past searches- Click yes.

That's all! Hope it helps.

On internet explorer:
Click on Tools > Internet Options
You will see "Clear History" button, just hit this button and the website history will be cleared completely.

on the menu bar select tool + internet options. Under temporary internet files click "delete cookies" and "delete files". Under History click "clear history".

You go desktop right click Internet Explorer icon click on properties then clear history then apply or OK

got into control panel-then internet-there is a box at te bottom that says "remove history" or something like that....but you also need to delete your cookies...this can be done on the same page

YOU HAVE TO GO TO SETTINGS AND FIND HISTORY IT GIVES YOU TIME FRAMES YOU CAN PICK FROM MINE ARE GONE AS I LEAVE THE SIGHT MIGHT FIND IN THE CONTROL PANEL?
