My husband has an iPod & I am planning on buying one. When I install iTunes, will our music get mixed up?
In addition, how can you transfer music on iTunes from one computer to another (i.e of you were buying a new laptop) without losing all the tunes? As the computer is the primary, doesn't suddenly using another computer as the base for sync have a dreadful effect on the iPod itself? (Friend of ours tried to sync with another computer & lost everything off his iPod - obviously this is the last thing you'd want).

I have a large 156 page Word document that I'm working with. Some sections are not printing properly. While the document looks fine on the screen, when I print it, the text appears reduced so that the font appears smaller and the margins look huge. Sections of the manuscript that I did later print normally. I've gone all through the settings and I can't figure out what to do to fix this problem! Any help is appreciated.

yesterday I had an upgrade on Msn toolbar #msntb_toolbar_full_name# and now I have a message on my taskbar saying I maybe a victim of counterfeit software. As this is a brand new laptop bought in October 2005 I know that the Windows XP that came with it is valid. Although my yahoo messenger works perfect I can no long sign in to my msn messenger or msn email. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what is the solution

i'm a member of a newly-formed group website. with the increasing number of comments, suggestions and plans, we lose track of what's what. we need to segregate topics/ subtopics, by then it would be easier to locate a particular subject.

I have a low-transaction system, and I wanted to put SQL Server 2000 personal edition on an XP Pro box as a stand alone system and have other systems on the network look to this box for its database. I've read a bunch of Microsoft articles, and it does not say that it restricts personal edition from remote connections, but I have not been able to see the database remotely. I'm using SQL Server authentication, so I shouldn't need to share any file directories, right? Any advice/ideas would be great.

You know the pad below the keyboard on most modern laptops, I like being able to scroll across the screen but I don't like the feature that allows you to tap the pad to click and prefer to use the buttons. Is it possible to keep the scrolling feature active but deactivate the 'clicking'?

Whenever I download a show from a torrent the show, most of the time, comes up as the filename (Series title).(Season#).(Episode#).HDTV.Xvid-LOL.avi

Now, I know "HDTV" means High Definition Television and I know that ".avi" is just the extension. I assume (correct me if I am wrong) that "Xvid" means ripped video. But what does the "LOL" in the filename represent?

I have Windows Media Player 9.0. It won't play DVDs, and says something about the decoder. From the research I've done, I've discovered that many people have had the decoder turned off by default. So how do I turn it on? Can anything else be causing this problem? If I need a new decoder, where can I download one for free?
