Okay, I have a laptop with a Wi-Fi card but I have dial-up internet. Yes, I know....dial up...*sigh*...it's all I can get where I live. Anyways, can I use the Wi-Fi connection at the coffee shops or do I need a Wi-Fi account? If I can use 'em then how? Thanks :)

I bid on some items and paid around $140.00 with PayPal. That was almost two months ago and I still have not received the items or even heard from the seller. I tried to file a complaint through PayPal, but it was past the 45 days required. I filed one with eBay last Friday and have heard nothing. Has anyone had their complaint resolved satisfactorily?

anyone ever taken surveys online where they say something like make up to $500 for just completing this survey?? anyone ever do it and actually get any money ?? I was offered this Target survey and it says for taking my time to fill it out, i could recieve up to $500 cash. TRUE or FALSE ......... its one of those too good to be true things i think, i sit on the computer all day and $h*t around and if I just did a survey I could make cash .... RIGHT ?!?!?! ((doubt it .. just wanna see if anyone actually did :) ))

I have a windows xp and use internet explorer think it is downloaded already but when I go to open it says: Limewire was unable to initialize and start. This is usally due to a firewall program blocking limewire's access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. Please allow limewire access to the internet and restart. Fyi- I have Mcafee security center

Whether it's limewire, kazaa, bearshare, morpheous, or whatever. Do companies really come after file sharers and/or file "recievers?"
I know about the virus/spyware risks.
I just see so many people using these programs to bolster their music/video collection, and I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble.
I just want to find stuff I can't find at a video store, like clips from shows that people have ripped & that kind of stuff. But, I would like to know the risks that sharers face when bolstering their music/video collection.

My microsoft internet explorer keeps sending a warning that my computer is infected with a virus and spy ware,yet when I ran my mcafee virus scan twice,there were no detected items,also my computer is begining to slow down significantly and when I try to access the internet my mcafee blocks the page!?!

Sometimes the page I'm at will just stop responding, but when I open Windows Task Manager, it will say Explorer is still running. I either have to end it through Manager, or wait maybe 3-4 minutes for the page to unfreeze by itself.
Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it?

I have had so many problems with printers over the years, I just want a printer I can count on!
I need a color printer with a scanner, and something that can print reliably even on heavier paper, maybe even photo-quality prints. I would like something that connects via USB port. Also something that has good software.

Anyone have recommendations?

Oh btw, I use a PC with WinXP (and please don't recommend I buy a MAC ;-)
