Whether it's limewire, kazaa, bearshare, morpheous, or whatever. Do companies really come after file sharers and/or file "recievers?"
I know about the virus/spyware risks.
I just see so many people using these programs to bolster their music/video collection, and I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble.
I just want to find stuff I can't find at a video store, like clips from shows that people have ripped & that kind of stuff. But, I would like to know the risks that sharers face when bolstering their music/video collection.

There are always risks when getting copyrighted material for free. They will *probably* not come after you, but if they do, you have to face the consequences.
