My problem with this is, once I open it, it asks for my password. Despite entering the correct username and password it fails to open. Over and over it asks for the same info, then tells me the folders can not be opened.

Does anyone know how to bypass this?

Ps I'm using a pc in work, so its prob on a network.

I got Dell 8400.. I recently called dell and they made me take all wires out and they did't help me very well. NOW I M AT LIBRARY TO USE THE COMPUTER EVERYDAY. SOMEHOW IT TURNS ON RIGHT AND THEN THE NEXT DAY IT IS SAME. IT MAKES SO MUCH NOISE AND FEELs LIKE THE FAN is going to blow up! What should I do so I can turn my computer on very well... Plzz give answers ppl thanks!!!

I am using my mother's computer and she has Charter.net as her internet provider. Everytime she starts her computer it pops up with Yahoo, and she does not like it!!! Please either remove this from the screen or tell me how to remove because she is getting very irritated!!!!

I have 3 SCSI hard drives from a Microsoft Windows 2003 server with lots of important information on them but no SCSI adaptable computer/server to extract the data. Should i buy a SCSI controller and connect the drives through my desktop on a SCSI controller or will gay windows want to reformat before even trying to read my data? Please help this is important information...

I think I am going with Sprint Broadband and the service is via a device similar to a satelite dish (but the technology is more like what cell phones use). Even though my actual connection is with a cable that goes from the modem to the dish, I understand I will have the same vulnerabilities as a wireless connection. What are the best ways to protect my connection from intruders? Software? Hardware?

I have a Windows XP Home edition, service pack 2, and I've downloaded Skype. I have earphones with a mic attached. The problem is my mic...I have it plugged in to the correct receptor (the "pink" one) I have all the "microphone" sections checked properly in the audio controls. What happens is that sometimes I do get sound (when I Skype test my audio), it seems to fade in and out, and sometimes all I hear is a barely audible clicking sound. Any ideas of the problem I have? I have called someone before and it worked great. Now it just isn't. I haven't really changed anything...I don't think...same earphone & mic, same configurations and same computer..any ideas on this?

I put music on the shuffle with my lap top. Then I installed itunes on my desk top so I could listen to the shuffle on the desk top. It doesn't see the music on the shuffle. It asks me if I want to clear the shuffle and reload it with music on the desk top. the desk top has no music on it. I guess the problem could be that because i didn't use the itunes software that came with the shuffle (because i have a 4th generation 20GB) when i loaded the music the software can't read the shuffle. I also tried to play the music through media player.

Hey my laptop is acting funny. I turned it on today and it just goes straight to a Boot Menu. I tried turning off the computer, ESC key all that stuff and it keeps going back to that menu. Is my laptop totally screwed? Did I just lose everything that was on my drive? Is there a way to fix it so it doesnt go to that menu when I turn on the laptop? This has happened once before but I turned off my laptop and turned it on again and worked fine. Now it always goes to the menu. PLEASE HELP!!

I just got this computer about a month ago and the screensaver keeps freezing up. The screen will go blank and when I move the mouse around my desktop picture will be there but the start bar on the bottom and the icons will be gone. I press ctrl alt del and then it will be ok. this is my first computer so i dont even know where to start.
