Just to consolidate the answers thus far:

A: Buy a new fan that is appropriate for the CPU Socket type you have. If you can't find a new fan for your CPU, then procede to:

B: Take the fan off the heatsink, use canned air to blow out any dust that has collected in the heatsink and fan. Obtain some sewing machine oil (this is the best option for oiling fans), and *CAREFULLY* remove the sticker from the fan and find the axle of the fan, put no more than one or two drops of said oil into the axle of the fan and work it in by hand until the fan blades turn freely. Replace the heatsink and fan on the processor exactly as you removed them and try again. If this doesn't solve the problem, then its one of 2 things:

1: Some systems have a fan controller that varries the speed of the fan based on CPU temp. This controller might be malfunctioning, causing the fan to over or under spin.

2: The CPU is already heat damaged from excessive dust build-up, you may need to replace it.

In any event, when dealing with OEM PC's, it is generally best to deal with the manufacturer on the issue. If you are dissatisfied with the service provided by one employee, either call back and you will likely get somebody different, or simply ask for a supervisor, and don't take no for an answer.

Hope this helps,

X

It sounds like the PSU (skill furnish Unit) fan is making the noise besides the undeniable fact that it will be the CPU fan, both way banging on the casing isn't a reliable theory. no matter if that's the PSU fan then there's a fuse contained in the PSU and at the same time as heated up (because it truly is once you skill on your computer) the fuse is likely to break once you bang the computer case to end the noise. it truly is problem-free to workout which fan is making the noise, with the computer operating get rid of the area panel, utilizing the centre of the fan push your finger on the circle contained in the middle (so fending off the fan blades) and end the CPU fan, if the noise stops you recognize which fan is the region, if it would not you nonetheless have an answer. do no longer end the fan for more effective than some seconds or you probability unfavourable the CPU itself. you'll hit upon cleansing the PSU or CPU fan with compressed air would remedy your situation yet regularly identifying to purchase a clean fan or PSU unit is actual more cost-effective than the can of compressed air contained in the first position.

1- best thing is changing the fan
2- if you can't find a same model of fan you need to drop a very very very tiny OIL ( like oil that you cook potatoes) by needle into the fan.First open the case take out the fan and drop tiny Oil on the armrest of the fan.

you prolly have too much dust in it... get some canned air ad spray the hell out of it and hopefully that would allow your cpu to cool properly and not crash
