I am not sure what you are saying here...does Yahoo pop up as a website, Yahoo messenger or (SBC) Yahoo DSL ?
If it's the website that pops up when she opens internet exploarer...change the default homepage.
If it's messenger, either remove that program by going to Start - Settings - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and remove it.
If it's the Yahoo internet service you're speaking of, do the same as I said above.

This is because Yahoo is set as the home page. Open your browser (internet explorer?) and click on the tools menu. then click on internet options. delete the address in the box and type the address of the site that you want as your home page. This should set the page as your home page and it will come up every time you go online. When you press the home button you will go to this site. Hope this helps. I'm a novice too lol!!! ........gino

It depends on what you mean by 'yahoo pops up' if you're talking about the web browser opening with yahoo, one can change one's start page.. if it's the chat gizmo, or 'yahoo today' the settings inside the chat gizmo will allow you to stop it.
