I believe that Avg is pretty good... but doesn't it require you to run it each time you want to check? I don't think it continuously monitors for viruses...

I prefer to use ZoneLabs Internet Security Suite... it has the Firewall, Virus scanner, and Spyware scanner (virus and spyware scanners can be setup to scan at regular intervals if you wish) and it detects incoming email attachments with viruses too... it costs about $50 right now which is pretty good for all it does...

I recommend antivir.It is way better that avg or avast put together.
