There are vaious USB dongles that you can buy which will provide a COM port via USB. Another way of doing this is to look at the Belkni port extender products which give you further USB ports, COM ports, PS/2 ports and a printer port. Tey also look very neat and tidy and can be extended easily.

go to device manager and find what usb u want click proties and u can change or use USB from there
