Three weeks ago I burned a back up CD to save my photos while my PC was being repaired. My PC was having many problems and now I think that when burned the CD I might have burned some problems along with it. I can no longer view what is on the CD. The first time I went into win explorer I saw a few photos and then they dissappeared. The time from clicking on the drive to the time something came up must have been a half-an-hour. The few pictures that came up were not retrievable. I stopped this proceedure but when I decided to go through this again, nothing came up. I have 4 such CDs one of which has my daughter's wedding pictures. We have tried different programs that is used to retrieve but none of them worked. I am afraid I lost perhaps a couple thousand photos. Any one have any ideas out there? I would like to save these photos.

I want the newest questions first ... in chronological order based on when they were asked... so I get the open questions at the top of the list ... it seems to me like the list is currently not in any real order ... thanks.

I can access http://www.blogger.com
But I cant access my blog - http://a2jdiary.blogspot or any other blog on blogspot.
Is there some server problem?
I tried it on 2-3 comps at home and at work, but it gives a page not found error.
Is it just me or is it a wwworldwide problem?
I NEED to update my blog!

i sign into windows live mesenger and it comes up at the top that there is a connection error why does this keep happening and how can i stop it, i've tried closing it down and starting it again but it still happens, it has been happening the last couple of days and it's really annoying me because some of my contacts can't see that my status is online aswell! Actually I have created a Java program (with jdk 1.3) and coverted it into a *.exe file using JSmoothGen. What it does is that it creates an exe file which looks out for *.class file and executes the program. Now I want to run this exe file through a website interface i.e. as soon as the user clicks on the file it searches for the file on the web and then updates the files on the website. But the problem is that when I posted it on web and accessed it via net, it get downloaded in the temp folder and searches for file there and not the web....... Please help....... I am new to Java programming
