i sign into windows live mesenger and it comes up at the top that there is a connection error why does this keep happening and how can i stop it, i've tried closing it down and starting it again but it still happens, it has been happening the last couple of days and it's really annoying me because some of my contacts can't see that my status is online aswell! PLEASE HELP ME THANKS!!!

It sounds like MSN is having issues with their connections. I don't think it is anything having to do with your side, sounds like an MSN issue.

Unfortunately to keep up with the lates versions of anything Microsoft will release software before the bugs are worked out. If using XP set the thing to update on a daily basis...but you better have at least 20 gigs. Or go to Microsoft.com to get the latest update for what you want.

Configure your firewall to allow WLM to connect to the web. isn't the mistakes message a huge adequate clue? because you probably did not difficulty telling us which Firewall you're utilising, i am going to no longer help you added.

firewall, check in the settings and tick allow for msger. I had the same prob and it was because my server is firefox and live messenger automatically tries to open windows.

its probably your connection firewall or ur programe has got an error

you'll get that sometimes. Ive gotten it several times. its just somethin on thier end i think. It will eventually work.

it did the same thing to me. i got mad and found a place to download msn 7.5 again.
