Whenever I use to download a photo it is of >1 Mb in size although when my friends use to mail me same image (after scanning) it is of 300 kbs appr. only. I would like to know that whether there is any way through which while scanning image size shall be minimal.

I am writing a VBA macro for Excel that connects to my SQL database, collects some data, returns it to the spreadsheet, and then formats it. The problem i am encountering is that the macro proceeds with the instructions while the SQL query is still loading data. I have attempted to pause the macro with an "Application.OnTime" but it is not working too well. I have also tried inputbox or msgbox, but those both seem to pause the query as well as the macro. Any ideas besides using two different macros?

I have a question regarding referencing. I am trying to reference to different worksheets. Currently, I have daily worksheets and their names are basically in mmddyy format, i.e. 071606 for July 16, 2006. I need to lookup (or reference) to these worksheet, but I don't want to look them up individually - i.e., clicking to the worksheet and to the cell one by one. Is there a easy way to do this? I can list all dates, convert them to text so it matches the individual worksheet names, but I cannot use this text string in referencing. Thanks!

Hi i am installing windows xp to a formatted hard drive, during setup i get the blue screen saying "Page Fault in Non Paged Area" can anyone help with this, all hardware works fine as i have just installed the new hard drive and the other hardware worked fine before that.

I hav learnt of SQL. I hav been thought that every system has an inbuilt server in it. How can i start creating a database and use SQL language to query it.
I hav been thought of client-server architecture also in SQL wherein different client systems can be connected to a single server. Is it possible to modify the database from a client system. Or only the server can?

When we send a shutdown message (by issuing say "shutdown -m \\D's_computer" command) to somebody else, they can abort it by using "shutdown -a" command. Is there a way to send a shutdown message, which cannot be aborted by the receiving end?

I had XP H.Edition on my PC, but yesterday installed XP Pro,
During the install, I had tried to Back Up.
And I think I did successfuly cos my C seems(?)
full of my old Documents (progs etc),

I can see my older programs in the PC I was using with XP HE, but cant see the Desktop files (.DOCs, .PPTs, PICs, Musics and Movies)

Where they can be? Under which file?
Do you know the name of the FILEs, which I made a BACK-UP of the older XP H.edition? Please HELP!!!


And (where) can I find free Office2007 to download from Microsoft?
