There are many languages to choose from.

WEB LANGUAGES:

HTML: If you want to create websites, I would advise learning HTML for starters from www.w3schools.com. Html, is a handy web language and is very quick and easy to learn. I would probably recommend it to new programmers whether they are Web programmers or not.

PHP: PHP is a scripting language used in Web programming. It can be used for many things. Most web programmers choose PHP because of its cost (Nothing), Power and Database capibilities.

ASP: ASP is microsofts version of PHP. ASP is very expensive though. It is more powerful then PHP but much much more expensive.

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES:

C/C++ and C#: These are all good languages to learn. (Basically all the same). These are good to learn if you would like to program Games or in Windows. I'd recommend learning C++.
C/C++ and C# are very very powerful languages.

Delphi/Pascal: These are okay languages. They are easier to learn but not as powerful as C/C++ and C#. They are mainly used for programming applications.

Java: Another easy to learn language. I dont think its as good as C/C++ and C# but some programmers think it is.

If you need anymore help selecting a language or learning any of them please email me: No_cheese_plz@hotmail.com. I think its best to learn the basics of all of em so you can choose yourself which one u feel confortably with.

What are the qualities that you want possible in your quantity? First, opportunity engulfs you with it's sensation of gaping mass. Next, you will quantify the quality unrealized. Finally, you will realize the nebulous.

Enjoy the amazing wonder of the C programming cartel.
