Is there any formula to determine the file size of a PDF based on the number of pages in the document?

Right now I have DSL at home, and live about 9,000 feet from the phone company. I'm moving to a new house that's 24,500 feet away (according to the phone company). The new house will have my old number, and they are going to try and transfer the DSL service too. They didn't know if the DSL would work at that distance, since 15,000 feet is the max distance they claim.

In your personal experience, what is the maximum distance that you have known DSL to work?

What is a warranty? Can you ask to repair a mouse for free if you have a warranty? I bought my HP computer less than a year ago and the mouse is acting weird. It just freezes and wont move to one side. I tried to clean it like what the directions said but it still didnt work. It starts to act okay after awhile but then it freezes again. I know for sure it's not the computer. It's the mouse. How can I fix this problem? Would the warranty cover it? And how do I ask to fix this problem with the warranty?

I have a Dell laptop and am getting Comcast high-speed internet. I will be using the internet at home for both a desktop and a Dell laptop? Is there a specific wireless router that I need to get? How much does it cost?
Otherwise, any suggestions as to what is a good, quality wireless router and how much will it cost?

I have a myspace account for networking purposes. I could never figure out how this became so popular. For a very well-known site, it is very poorly managed. The site has a bad interface, it's not too pleasing to the eye, and it doesn't work half the time. Yet so many people are on it! Some commercials have gone so far as to include a myspace link at the end (such as movie ads and such). Why is myspace the "big thing"?
