Control panel's ' PORTABLE MEDIA DEVICES ' Trouble>>>?

PLz solve my problem friend. i am having prob with control panel's ' PORTABLE MEDIA DEVICES ' .some days ago it was ok but now its icon has gone & its internal media devices also. I used system restore but nothing happens.pls help me i am very afraid wid ma new comp. bye ...

MAke sure your portable media device is connected to your computer. If you dont connect it, your computer has no reason to put an icon for you to access it.

Connect it back to your computer and try to install it again and see if the icon comes back.

Something is wrong with your media device then. You need to unplug it then plug it in again. Make sure you update the driver if it needs to be updated.
