Windows XP is the latest final version.
Windows Vista won't be comming out until next year. According to an article that I read. The only people that are going to have access to the Final Version of Windows Vista this year are people that have one of their packages.

The lastest commercially available version of Windows is XP (which comes in both a Home version and a Pro version for businesses).
There is a Bete (pre-release) version of Windows Vista available for people wanting to test it or to do development for it. But is not available or intended for everyday usage. The final version of Windows Vistais suppose to be out late this year or early next.
