Now PC seems to run slower than ever, got rid of lots of faults and rubbish, thought it would quicken it up ????Any suggestions please

I never rely on a program to clean my registry keys. They usually dont know how to tell the difference between an apple from an orange, so I never touch my registry keys unless I'm sure I know what I'm doing.
You might have things running in your background. Go to START then RUN. Type msconfig in the box and hit enter. It will bring up a Window. Go to the start up tab and then check in there to see if you have a lot of CHECKED boxes. Uncheck the programs you dont want running when you startup windows. Normally this fixes the slow issue.
This is what I would do if I were you.
I would go to START, PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, then SYSTEM TOOLS. I would use the SYSTEM RESTORE option to restore my PC because I think your reg cleaner just screwed things up for you. Restore your computer or use your Windows CD to repair your Windows.
Get rid of the reg cleaner program and do a disk scan, disk compression, and disk defrag.
Then do the msconfig startup option I typed above.
Your computer will run more smoothly.

You might have deleted some required registry entries by mistake, normally it does not happen this way until there is some fault...
