My desktop is hard wired to it and it works fine but my laptop has a wireless connection with the router...

Link quality and signal strength are both 100% but it still won't let me connect to the internet.

Can somebody help?

The computer has an Administrator account, but I do not know the password for the account. The guest account on the computer does not grant me the joy of reformatting my hard drive, only the administrator can do that..... Safe mode doesn't work, as it still wants a password.

I would like to know if there is a way for me to save some video clips that i have on the internet. I know that I could save pictures on the internet by going to yahoo! pictures, but what about video.
I dont use the video for any websites, I just feel better if I have it saved on my computer and the internet.

Ive tried TweakUI and it dosent work, it dosent even run on my computer. I know it has something to do with the registry, so if you have some program reccomendations that automatticly remove programs off the luist without uninstalling them that would be awesome. Or if you can find the microsoft guide on how to do this manually that would be good also. Thanks.

I just reinstalled widows os, on new hard drive and new board. Windows locks up mouse freezes. Powers up but occasionally freezes. Did this with another MB and raid hard drives. Only thing in common on both systems, CPU, Power supply, and video card. It's driving me nuts.

One of my DVD+RW disks suddenly went bad. I used it for several months, then suddenly a zero byte file named "Non-Allocatable Space" appeared. I reformatted the disk, and its properties show 4.7GB of used space and zero bytes of free space.

I have erased and formatted several times with no success. I moved my data on to a new DVD+RW disk without problems. Why did my first disk go bad?
Can I return the disk to the manufacturer and claim that it was defective? I think Memorex disks have a lifetime warranty.

I'm using Win XP with InCD 4.3.0.5.

ok you see I just had an upgrade-from a windows98 to a windowsXp, ok when I done the upgrade, instead of just doing the regular upgrade, I installed xp on my computer instead, what I need to know is, can I delete my old windows98 file, it eats up a lot of my hard drive, not leaving me much left, will it harm the computer to delete these files,(windows 98), please can any one help?????

When I open Windows Explorer, My Computer, or My Doucuments.. anything; everytime I right-click on something it pauses for a second and then closes. Take off desktop icons, taskbar.. basic explorer crash. It happens when I right click on folders, files, anything. Sometimes it will alson do it when I click on a file push delete on my keyboard, it crashes. I've tried turning off the details on the right and it work about 2 times and now it still locks up. I've scaned the reg. several times, checked for viruses and all the other basics. Any other Ideas ?

When inserting an audio CD, it keeps wanting to go to
Music Match Jukebox player. On Windows Media Player I
went to tools, options & file types and checked them all and
hit apply but it unchecks the CD playback as well as mp3
when inserting the disc to play it and Music Match pops up.
What can resolve this issue, please?
