help!!! Is there a way fo going back and retrieving chat after it has been closed?

I was chatting away with my daughter this morning and i wanted to save our chat however I didnt.Please help...I sthere a way of retrieving it again?Thanks so much!

hi Sweet ty however i doesnt say preferences anywhere or archives,I am using Windows live messanger.Thanks

yes you could do that. go to preferences in your messenger, click archive then choose settings you would like to apply.
