Many of us have become addicted to the Internet. I, for one, use the Internet to buy quite a few things and to do a lot of research. In fact, I use the Internet daily for fact finding (mostly Google, BTW). Could you go back to the old way of life before the Internet without suffering severe withdrawal? I could, but I would miss it.

But What if I write a program (class) outsite of visual studio.net like in a notepad, compile it using CSC and then run it just by typing the generated (PE) executable file. In this case there is no assembly then how does CLR run the code ? .NET EXPERTS : PLEASE CLARIFY. Thanks to all geniun respondents.

windows xp freezes when saving your settings appears and will not shut down,even when i use the ctrl-alt-del method this has all happened after installing norton security systems and i am led to believe is a quite a common problem hope someone can help thank-you.

i have windows XP home edition!i don't want to do a full formate cause i 'll loose everything and i don't have the time to make backups or re-installing all my programs again!a friend of mine told me that there is a quick format that i can do,the problem is that i don't know how!!PS:i have the original cd with windows XP home edition that was with the pc whwn i bought it.

If you wish to print off say, pages 1,3,7,9,22,25 of a 52 page web page. You go in to print then range and in the pages box do you put, 1,3,9,22,25. Is this correct.

My computer restarts suddenly without warning...after restart, I get the message "Your computer has recovered from a severe error"....the problem still occurs after reinstalling windows and putting SP2 pack.....could someone help me with this?

Ok. after the windows has booted up and the icons pop up, the windows sign comes on and then a long pause. After that, windows pops up with the media center(video, programs, setting, and other things are on) comes up. Do you know how to get that from coming on?
