why is it happening time n again that my internet goes out timef and again while I am searching on internet?

is it due to the reason that my microsoft internet explorer is not working properly or what?Can anyone pls tell me and give me any idea.Is it due to the reason that I have turned off my microsoft updates off

It's your connection. Do you use a wireless network? I had a lot of problems with wireless service and finally switched to cable. if you are using dial-up, then it is because the connection keeps breaking up...and is usually slow for a number of reasons. You might have to contact your server to find out. They will walk you through it step by step. One time, they had to renew my IP address...another time, they had to give me new settings.
