If you have a Dial up modem connection, who do you dial up? That will be your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

They will generate your IP address (Internet Protocol address).

Everytime you dial up a new IP address will be generated from a range that your ISP has.

You cannot connect to a network (internet) without an IP address.

If you had a broadband connection this can be a fixed IP address or variable IP address.

Are you sure you know what you are asking?

Usually cable users are stuck with the same ip
On fixed line dial up you usually get a new ip address each time you connect especially if the provider has a large number of customers.

Your IP cannot be changed. It's like your computer's personal identification mechanism. Makes no difference what company you use for ISP...you're out of luck my friend....until you get a new computer which will have a new IP.

hello again, my friend. simply change your dial-up provider. you will have a new IP and be able to get a new account. But were you not banned for a good reason?

if your ISP gives you a dynamic ip for dial up (most do) then you would simply disconnect and reconnect, call your ISP help desk for more information....
