Many of us have become addicted to the Internet. I, for one, use the Internet to buy quite a few things and to do a lot of research. In fact, I use the Internet daily for fact finding (mostly Google, BTW). Could you go back to the old way of life before the Internet without suffering severe withdrawal? I could, but I would miss it.

Stupidly, I miss a few phonenumbers of people I'd otherwise get in touch with online. And I'm not used to writing letters anymore either. In a way, I would be glad if the internet crashed - and threw me back to my own devices. It'd be like an electrical outage - it takes one, to notice independence from tv or lamp is a possibility. I would miss the internet, but getting re-acquinted with the pen and paper I used to love might make up for it.
As I work at an ISP, it would mean I have days off too. Nice.
