Here are some useful tips:
1. Don't post questions unless it is essential.
2. Use optimum ways to find anwers. A lot of questions people ask can be yahooed out, or wikipedia'd out. They just have to be organised a little and presented well, so that you get the Best Answers vote.
3. Answer lots of simple yes/no questions. Some of them have obvious answers. Asking for ur opinion, and so on.
4. Keep accessing regularly and answering something or the other.
5. Vote for Best Answers on Undecided Questions after verifying whether they are the easiest ways to answer the question at hand.
6. Focus on visiting questions in your areas of expertise. Chances of getting Best Answer is higher there.

Answer questions honestly and try not to be sarcastic or offensive this will get you best answers. Then also vote on undecided answers
