The extensions to the URL (.asp and .html) indicate what language the webpages were written in - you there would have to convert the content rather than just rename.

You have to be aware though that some extensions are used for a reason: ASP (Active Server Page) is used for dynamic pages or when submitting alot of data to the server. This functionality may not be possible in a plain HTML document.

you can't convert an asp URL to a html URL, however there are a lot of software and online resources that will help you convert ASP code to HTML CODE

use your brain

search the net, you will find your solution very easy......

by making your site a hyper text mark up language designed one instead of the active server page it's in now.

make a new html page and replace the old asp version with this. Though asp is more modern tech.

Configure your server so it will understand files with html extension as ASP files.

either you can open the.asp page in dreamweaver & saveas it as .html file or open the .asp file in dreamweaver in the design mode copy all the contents of the page ,open a new html file in design mode paste the contents in the document,it looks weird but i think it will work.

Save As your file abc.asp to abc.html
However if the file has asp coding then it wont work.
