there is a battery in the that will keep the clock on no matter if the computer is turned on or off. It is just like a regular clock but it's hidden with a little battery that never runs out of power. But if you want you can change the time, and it will continue from where you edit it.

There are all kinds of subroutines occurring in your computer at all times. A chronometer is a simple iteration loop. You can even write a simple URL string that will keep the same time no matter how many generations it is copied or passed from computer to computer, etc.
