My notebook hav no problem connecting to the internet when connect to the LAN. But once I connect via wifi, I just can't browse... yet I can still use my IM to chat. Can anyone help shed some light as what I should be looking for to rectify this problem?

i got a scanner. it didnt have the driver for it. but i found a site and downloaded it. not sure if it even worked. but i used imaging in accessories to scan a image. but i need i want to bring it up on my messengers but it wont let me. what do i need to do?

My ethernet cord is connected to the modem and then through the adapter to the pc and it never stays connected long. If it gets a good connection, and the lights are on it will barely move and disconnect. This is my 3rd adapter and the one I have now has already broken where the small plastic cover is ., so I have it taped together, but the tapes starts coming off and I refuse to buy another Linksys. What else works?

Where can i go to download a missing file on my pc? I get a message saying cannot find the ARHELP.HLP file. It says to install it again but i don't know where to find it.

If you go on Google Maps and Google a place like West Edmonton Mall, then after you get a basic map, you can choose "satellite" and it will show you live( but still-motion) pictures of the place. Does or does that not sound like spying?

OK I got 1.5mbps DSL internet ,I got wireless belking router and wireless card for my pc. It was working good for about 6 months until I bought new 5.8GZ Phone now everytime somebody calls and you hang up or answering machines comes up the dsl connection dissapears and I have to wait like 3 minutes for it to come back on again. I know that my wireless Router and Card are at 2.4GH frequency so what could be the problem. I have phone one 2.4gh never had any problems with the one, but after I got the 5.8GH the problem occured. I got only one phone line jack in whole house, so I got 3 phone line jack splitters in it. Two of them are used by phones and one by DSL Router. Could this be the problem or what. The new phone got two handsets if matters. Any help is appreciated.

Holy crap. Is it really that hard to type the word ‘to’ instead of 2? Ok, ok, I’ll admit I use the dreaded 'lol' sparingly, but for gods sake does no one realize how moronic this looks:

Recently, Alienware computers was bought out by Dell but I have not been able to find the details behind this merger. I spilled a lot of water on the keyboard of my laptop. Almost instantly the screen went out. Then I turned off the power and wipee excess water and let it dry. Now, when I push the power button, the light comes on and I hear the fan start, but then that's it.
Any suggestions? Is it a complete loss? Or is it possibly fixable by me? Cheaper to fix or buy new laptop? I bought a warranty for it, but it specifically states will not cover spilled liquids. Thanks
