Considering you haven't bothered to tell us *where* you live, it's rather hard to answer that question. Contact SBC, and be sure to tell them where you are.

Nope. in case you cancel your DSL service, SBC will cancel your digital mail account. you should get your comcast account setup first, and setup a rule interior Outlook merely so as digital mail is available in by your SBC account you provide an automated reply that nottifies those that your digital mail handle has replaced. After a month then cancel the SBC account. Then the folk you communicate with wont could take care of the marvel.

Since you didn't tell anyone where you live, contact SBC. They can tell you. I will tell you from my experience from working for Sprint local that DSL will not be available if there isnt enough people that want it. It take over one million dollars just to buy the main port or the hub for the neighborhood. So, if the need isn't there, it will not be put in.

They are correct. in order for anyone to tell you if there is DSL in your area we would need to have your tel# . if there isn't available at this time somebody in the engineering dept for at&t may be able to give you an idea of when it will be there. If you see a technician on the street ask them if they know someone in engineering that can call you back. those numbers are not given usually given to the public.

You might check with your cable TV company to see if they offer internet broadband. They tend to be more aggressive at market penetration than the telcos.
