I have a Toshiba Satellite P35 laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9600/9700 series graphics card. I turned on my computer one time to find that i had a purple vertical line on my screen. Since then, more lines have appeared. I tried reinstalling the driver, but it did not help. The computer is no longer under warranty, and I cannot replace the graphics card. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem short of buying a new computer?

I am trying to download a file from a website... the d-load starts, then slows down, then does nothing...

is there anything I can do on my end to get the file or is it a problem with the website?

I'm know modelling and animation very well (do it for a living) and now i'm trying to get a model into a game, though not sure which game to use, unreal or quake 4 maybe? but the main problem is i just can't seem to fina any good tutorials out there on how to actually get a character into the game itself?

I must have accidentally deleted all my pictures from my digital camera that were on my pc. They are pictures of my 10 month old daughter and I REALLY want them back. They were in Kodak Easyshare program. The thumbnails are still there, but when you click on them, it says it cannot find them. Is there some way to get them back??

I have Windows ME, and I need a free downloadable program that I can put on my computer to get out all of the crap. I need a free program that won't just find the infections, and then say that I need to register to remove them all, I need one that is free for private use, and that will delete all infections without registering for anything. first i want to thank every one of you who gave immediate response/solutions to my question regarding freeing up my c drive. wow, i was very impressed...:) things are working. i.d like to also ask is there a freeware download i can keep running to keep the drive clean...every time i go into a site i'm constantly having to remove all the garbage that comes with it,,,that takes up space and clutters my drive and is there an excellent freeware i can download to clear up more than 1/4 of my errors i've got on my computer? all i've tried have only done a so so job. again i'd like to thank you all for your help...:)

just formated a pc .. it loaded fine restarts fine if u leave the cd in the rom if u take it out it says boot failure. i change roms still the same i reset the cmos ,chnage boot options still the same . some 1 got an awnser?

I did everytihng as exactally as you guys told me to. I put my second HD into the empty bay for a secondary HD. But the problem is, how do I connect the power to the second HD. I heard you can only use the P5 plug to power the primary HD. Can I use P6 or P8?

MY FIRST HD IS SATA(a few, very small pins in one row) AND THE SECOND HD IS ATA(with the twenty something pins). MY DVD DRIVE IS CONNECTED TO THE MOTHER BOARD USING THE ONLY IDE PORT ON MY COMPUTER.

What do I do?
