What operating system are you running? 384 MB ram is fine for Win98, but you might want more for XP.
What do you plan to do with the computer? Some games might require a video card, if you collect music or videos, you may need more disk space.

1st if u have an intel processor then u need a new one"if it's an AMD it's not that bad but u should upgrade too if u have the cash"
2nd u need more memory "1GB at least"
3rd u may need another hard draive if u like to keep alot of movies and games
