first i want to thank every one of you who gave immediate response/solutions to my question regarding freeing up my c drive. wow, i was very impressed...:) things are working. i.d like to also ask is there a freeware download i can keep running to keep the drive clean...every time i go into a site i'm constantly having to remove all the garbage that comes with it,,,that takes up space and clutters my drive and is there an excellent freeware i can download to clear up more than 1/4 of my errors i've got on my computer? all i've tried have only done a so so job. again i'd like to thank you all for your help...:)

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools. Use the disk cleanup and defragmenter. They both clean up your drive. I did both to mine and emptied 4 gigabytes! The defrag. takes a couple hours though. Also, these come with Windows XP, so you don't have to worry about downloading an obscure program which may be filled with viruses and spyware. Do these periodically, and you shouldn't have any problems.
