am I hacked? Are they just data miners? I am constantly having to delete tracking cookies.
Do I need to worry about going to my bank accounts online?

I want to set up a wireless router to my roommate's computer so I can connect mine to the internet - I got a D-Link DI-524 router and in setup you have to choose dynamic IP, static IP, PPPoE - which does the SBC (ATT now) Yahoo DSL use?? In the oook it says most DSL uses the PPPoE but......
Also it tells me to make sure that in the LAN Properties I have it set up to "Obtain IP address automatically", but her computer is set up with the other option "Use the following IP address" - if I change it, will it mess up her computer and it won't be able to connect to the internet? (and does this mean it's set up with a static IP address?)
This is all on Windows XP Home

Everytime I try to access any disk on my floppy drive I get the same message. "A:\ is not accessible, No ID address mark was found on the floppy disk." Right clicking gives me the same message also, in fact anything that I do that concerns this drive gives me the same message as above.

Can someone help?

I installed a wireless router and when it was all set up i lost my internet connection on both comps?
I have 2 dells and 1 is brand new, the other is like 3 or 4 years old. They both have windows xp. The router is a 240mbps netgear. I followed the directions on the disk they gave me and tried it like 35 times. Everytime as soon as its all installed when i click on the internet explorer it says to call verizon. Can anyone help???

i use verizon dsl and have a verizon modem. i hope this is all the info u need if not email me

I've actually downloaded Windows Vista Beta 2 ISO from Microsoft official website and I really, really want to install it immediately. Before I do so, I've read many articles online and found out that a partition needs to erase all the data before partition can be done. In my current drive, it contains lots and lots of data (MP3s, movies, games, etc...) and I don't want to remove all of those data. I searched across the internet and found out that Norton PartitionMagic 8.0 can offer such a non-destructive (without removing any data) partition. Is it really true that it can partition a hard drive without removing all my data? Is there any more alternatives that could enable me to partition my hrad drive without removing all my files?

I just downloaded and installed LIMEWIRE version 4.10. (the latest)

When I download movies like the Lost season I get to like 99% complete then it just stops. It will not verify the completion and when I pause it, then it resets back to like 10% complete. I checked the tools and made sure that it deletes incompletes after 14 days. This is same day operations. How to fix this problem?
