Put the cursor on the top of the icon, right click it then select the Adjust Date/Time.

You might also want to opt-out of the 'Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes'. Just un-tic mark it.

(Sometimes that causes the clock settings to change on its own.)
Then of course, click Apply.

Double left click on the time at the right hand corner of your screen. Select the correct day on the calendar, and press apply.

Double - click the time of day in the bottom right corner of your screen. Click the correct date, and click "apply".

for windows XP double click on the date after sighning in as admnistrator. then you can correct the date and time
