I am unable to get into my wireless network settings so I can add WEP security. What should I do.

First, you should HARDWIRE your connection to the Belkin router.

Once your computer has an IP address, use Internet Explorer and go to the GATEWAY address. It could be either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

This will bring up the USERNAME and PASSWORD

Try different password combinations if you can't find the manual

username: blank password: admin
username: admin password: blank

Some Belkin routers used BLANK as the password, and had no username field.

Once you are in, you should be able to get to the Wireless security section.

(Oh, as a last resort, look for the RESET button on the router)

Good luck

IF you still have trouble, consider getting a new Linksys Router and keep the old Belkin as a spare. You do need the wireless security setting TURNED ON.

well if u goto http://192.168.0.1 on your address bar, on internet explorer.
or i would read the manual on how to login into the router.
