Everytime I try to access any disk on my floppy drive I get the same message. "A:\ is not accessible, No ID address mark was found on the floppy disk." Right clicking gives me the same message also, in fact anything that I do that concerns this drive gives me the same message as above.

Can someone help?

Your floppy drive maybe damaged or the cables probably loosed. Check the data and electrical cables inside the computer. If you're still unable to fix it, then get a new one. It cost about $5 to $10 bucks, don't pay more than that. As a matter of fact, you don't really need the A drive anymore because you can boot from cdrom or dvdrom. The A drive is becoming obsolete. I've never used my A drive ever since I built it 2 years ago.

Assuming you know about the "little doors" on each floppy usually black that need to be in proper position to write to disk. Otherwise do this:

Check your setup in BIOS which can be accessed when PC boots up by pushing the ESC or one of the "F" Keys depending on your manufacturer. Once in, look for drives settings and make sure it is enabled and the right type of drive 1.4Mg HD or similiar. Then save the changes usually F10 but yours may differ just follow the menu at top of screen to exit and the program will ask you to save changes or continue without saving.

There are other interesting settings but don't play unless you know what the heck your doing.

Strong possibility that your floppy drive is now bad. It happens, they're usually not to difficult to replace if you can operate a screwdriver.

Typically no BIOS changes are necessary, no configuration needed.
