i have downloaded a couple of movies and such on my pc from bearshare pro and i keep getting this data base file called thumbs it seems to be in the same folder as image files but i don't know if that means anything.
every time i delete it it comes back....but i'm not sure if that is because i download stuff from bearshare, but evan still then i'm not downloading this file it just shows up.
mt computer runs the same but trojans.......please help!!!!!!

I backed up al my important data on an external hard drive; but I am wondering how reliable this thing is? What if someday it is dead and I cannot read data from it? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Some one use my computer , and now my web page is : www.18list.com , a sex site , so terrible TT^TT I don't know what to do know . I can not change it , I tried so many ways , but I got no success . I need to have 3 tables on a page. A few columns have text in vertical direction. When I try to split the column, so I can underline one half of it, the page expands wildly and I can't get it back to normal view. I have to close and reopen, hoping I have at least what I started with. I realize tables are movable and have set wrap to none. Can anyone help?

I had to change the BIOS config to cd rom startup, but I can't remember what my default is and now I cant get it to boot. I have partially installed Win 2000 Pro but when it prompts to restart to finish installation thats when I get the error message.

if i had a computer with a dsl modem in it cuz i had dsl at my house, could i take that computer over to my friends house, plug it into his phone jack, and get dsl over at his house or do i have to use my phone jack?

Also, what kind of voice do you hear? Is it my voice, or computer-mechanized?

According to this page, http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=32330 Vista Beta 2 does not support dual graphics cards in SLi mode (which is naturally what I have) and it just crashes if you do. Anyone out there had experience with this.

Installed some software on my PC. A colleague also copied some files to a memory stick. Now every time I reboot, I have to OK a window headed;

"USB Mass Storage Safe Eject Tool"

"Incorrect Windows version. This application is for Windows 98 SE only. Click OK."

before I can do anything else.
My PC is slow enough without this! What's causing it, how can I track the process and get rid of this prompt? Is there a Control Panel setting I could change? If you can advise me, please feel free to spell it out step by step - I'm used to a different operating system, & I don't want to break the registry!

P.S. Yes, I know Win 98 is old! - I can't afford to upgrade right now.
