People are trying to trick you into downloading the zip so they can get a program on your computer. It is usually a keylogger, which can be extremely difficult to both detect and remove. Keyloggers (obviously) log your keys and send the results back over the internet . They're looking for credit card numbers, SSN's, logins, anything that they can use.

Don't even open them- delete them without a second thought. If your account needed updating for real (very rare) it would ask so after your login and before you even got to the mailbox.

Virus! It's a key loger, from what I've heard.
